Service and planned maintainence

Servicing and planned maintenance is the most important thing when it comes to industrial doors. Proactive maintenance is more cost effective than reactive works, it is required to keep your business safe and compliant and it can drastically increase the working life of your equipment. There is however different levels of service which is best suited for different doors and budgets which is why we offer different levels of cover for your doors.

Bronze

The bronze level service is best suited for new or less used and lower dependency doors or equipment.

  • Service and diagnostic of all the critical systems. Including safety systems, lifting systems, suspension systems, counter balance systems, travel systems, positioning systems and electrical systems.

  • Check over of all fixings and safety retainers.

  • Full compliance check over in accordance to DHF guidelines and reporting of any issues which require further attention, improvement or safety critical improvements.

  • Service Certificate issued

  • Full remedial report and quotation for all issues found.

    Please note that with Roller Shutters with canopy’s, it may be required to cut inspection hatches into the canopy for access. If your site does not allow hot works or do not wish to have hatches cut, a MEWP or other access equipment will be required to be hired in for access. A MEWP or other access equipment may also be required for doors over 5.5m high.

Silver

The Silver level service is best suited for older or heavily used and higher dependency doors or equipment.

  • Everything included in the Bronze

  • Full balance set up of counter balance or suspension system by adding or removing tension as required from the counter balance springs or weights.

  • 100% discount of labour for replacement of damaged or broken motors, end locks, wind locks, lifting cables, rollers and hinges, chains, sprockets and lifting straps which are the most common issues picked up on service

  • Full curtain or panel realignment.

  • 20% discount on all remedial labour work not covered under the 100% common issues discount.

  • 10% discount on a new door if old door is condemned.

GOLD

The Gold level service is best suited any and all doors or equipment.

The Gold level is an all inclusive service. This service works differently from the other levels as there is no “what is covered” sections as everything is covered. 100% discount on all labour for all required or recommended works or new installs from a service where the door was condemned. A one year warranty for the whole door will be applied after a gold service once any remedial works or recommendations have been completed. The warranty is very simple, if it breaks we fix it free of charge. There are obvious exceptions to this which are listed below.

  • There is deliberate change to the doors environment, for example removing a canopy to expose an internal door to weather or installing new equipment near the door which generates high volumes of dust or debris.

  • If the door or equipment has been worked on by another party other than Regen Automation or without approval from Regen Automation.

  • If the door or equipment has been damaged by another party, for example fork lift truck strikes or an attempted break in.

  • If the door or equipment exceeds 100,000 operations per year. If this is the case, then it may be required to carry out the service Bi-annually to keep the warranty.

We are very fair with our warranty, we will assess each warranty claim personally and before any claim is refused we will offer to show you our findings to demonstrate why the claim is refused. please call us if you are in doubt as we want to avoid refusing warranty claims as much as possible.
